Dr. Nelson’s Journey and Impact
From a young age, Dr. Nelson aspired to transform lives through the power of a smile, dedicating his academic and professional career to orthodontics.

Education:
Dr. Nelson was born and raised in Alvin, Texas and graduated as salutatorian from Alvin High School. He attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied biology and business, graduating in the top 4% with highest honors. He earned his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, receiving multiple awards in research and clinical dentistry. Dr. Nelson was then selected for three-year orthodontic residency at the Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta, where he also completed a fellowship in clear aligner therapy. His services range from early interceptive treatments to adolescent and adult orthodontics, offering both traditional braces and the latest clear aligners.

Personal Life:
Dr. Nelson is married to his college sweetheart, Julia, a Sugar Land native. They have son, Ryan, and two Labrador retrievers, Big Tex and Miss Georgia. The family enjoys church and community events, playing fetch with the dogs, and adventuring with friends and family.
